Omniture Appoints Vice President of Channel Sales
Mark Dillon's Partner Relations and Sales Expertise Will Help Expand Omnitures Channel Program
OREM, Utah March 29, 2006 Omniture, the leading provider of online business optimization services, today announced the appointment of Mark Dillon to vice president, channel sales. In this newly created position, Dillon will spearhead Omnitures global channel strategy aimed at further strengthening the companys relationships with key partners (e.g. marketing agencies, OEM/VAR resellers, referral partners) while driving revenue growth through channel sales. Dillon will report directly to Christopher Harrington, vice president, sales.Successful relationships with partners such as MarketLive, Saxotech, vCommerce and DoubleClick have been the key to the success for many of our customers, said Dillon. With increasing market demand for the Omniture SiteCatalyst platform, the time is ripe to expand our channel program with additional dedicated resources that will further enhance our partner and customer relationships.
Stock Option Trading Dillon brings Omniture 16 years of sales and sales leadership experience in analytics, eCommerce and B2B industries. Prior to his promotion, Dillon was senior director of channel sales at Omniture, where he played a key role in creating the program and developing relationships with over 40 channel partners. Before Omniture, Dillon held a senior-level sales position at WebSideStory where he consistently ranked as the top sales professional, closing deals with many of the companys largest clients. He also held sales positions at Digital Commerce Corporation and Epoch Internet.
Prior to rejoining Corel, Thornton was the Senior Vice President of Sales at Sage Software, working in the Small Business Division. In this position, he was responsible for all sales channels and new customer acquisition for leading Sage Software brands such as ACT!®, Peachtree®, Simply Accounting® and Timeslips®. Previously, Thornton was the Vice President Sales, Americas at Corel, where he helped to lead the company through multiple successful product launches.

In October 2003, Handspring and palmOne became one, combined company. John was a member of the merger leadership team.
